Mayer Brown has expanded its Singapore office with the appointment of Janelene Chen as a partner in the banking and financing practice, where she will focus on trade and other structured finance transactions. Chen joins Mayer Brown from Norton Rose Fulbright.
With dual qualifications in English and Singapore law, Chen brings extensive experience advising financial institutions and corporate borrowers on cross-border financings, including trade finance, event-driven financing, structured lending, and general banking. Her expertise extends to Singapore, Indonesia, Indochina, Hong Kong, and Mainland China.
